Do Psychic Friends Exist?

Ever think of a friend for the phone to ring and have it be that friend on the other end. Ever really need to talk to someone about a problem you are having and have a good friend call you, wanting to talk? Ever have a friend who just had a hunch that you needed someone and decided to drop by without even talking to that friend ahead of time? Well, these friends are known as psychic friends because they are able to sense the needs and thoughts of their friends, even at a considerable distance.

Psychic friends can be developed in two ways. Either the individual was born with a talent in which the individual is able to detect moods of others without talking to them or seeing them. This is called empathy. Other psychic friends are developed through a deep and lasting connection with them. These friends are only able to detect the moods and concerns of those friends that they are close to. It is possible for one friend to be psychic and not the other. It really does depend upon the sensitivity levels of the individual.

Psychic friendships can be nice in that the help and support is often there before one has to ask for it. It is also nice in that the friend is able to detect and understand emotions that one might have difficulty expressing otherwise. This can lead to a higher level of connection and trust between the two friends.

A bad point of psychic friends is that it is often difficult to surprise the individual since they often know or suspect the thoughts of their friends. This can make surprise parties less of a surprise and more of a party. It is also difficult on the psychic friend at times because he or she has too much emotion and information in their heads, which can lead to emotional distress at times. But with support, a psychic friend and friendship can blossom and grow in time.
